There are many plant habitats around the world, including forests, woodlands, gr****lands, and deserts. This determines their climate, or yearly weather pattern in a region. Trees grow best in forests and woodlands because of the amount of water available.
A food chain shows how each living thing gets its food. Some animals eat plants and some animals eat other animals. For example, a simple food chain links the trees & shrubs, the giraffes (that eat trees & shrubs), and the lions (that eat the giraffes). Each link in this chain is food for the next link.
Learn about the different natural environments of plants and animals.
The environment is everything around us. All our surroundings including the air, soil, water, plants, and animals make up the environment. Plants and animals need a healthy environment to survive. An ecosystem is an area where living organisms interact in a specific way with the local environment to survive.

Germination is the phase of plant growth when the seed begins to sprout. Seeds have a seed coat, a protective layer on the outside. Inside the seed there is a cotyledon that protects and provides food for the baby plant, and the embryo, the baby plant inside the seed that has roots, a stem, and leaves.
Flowering plants grow flowers and use seeds to reproduce, or make more plants like them. Nonflowering plants do not grow flowers, and use either seeds or spores, which are very tiny parts of a plant that can be used to reproduce, to grow more plants just like them.
Those kinds include: sunny, rainy, windy, snowy, cloudy, stormy, foggy, humid, and so on. As we discussed before, there are some other critical weather conditions, such as Tornadoes, Thunderstorms, Hurricanes, Typhoons, Droughts, Blizzards, Winter Storm, Thundersnow, wildfire, Sand-storms, etc.
Most soil contains three types of particles: sand, silt, and clay. These different types of particles create different types of soil. Sandy soil is made mostly of sand particles.
Other organs include your brain, lungs, heart, liver, stomach, intestines, pancreas, and kidneys, and they're called internal organs because they're located on the inside of your body.
Arms: Stand up straight with one arm relaxed, and find the midpoint between the shoulder bone and the elbow of that arm. Calves: Measure halfway between the knee and the ankle. Chest: Stand with your feet together and torso straight, and find the widest part around your bust.
What are the organs of the body? The five vital organs in the human body are the brain, the heart, the lungs, the kidneys, and the liver. Other organs include the gallbladder, the pancreas, and the stomach. Organ systems, such as the nervous system, support these organs.
The Plant Kingdom is made up of all different kinds of plants. Most plants are autotrophs which means that they make their own food. Plants use photosynthesis to make their own food. Plants are multi-cellular which means that they have more than one cell.

Materials are the matter or substance that objects are made from. We use a wide range of different materials daily; these might include: metal. plastic. wood.
Pets need care and attention to keep them healthy, happy, and safe. They need healthy food; clean, fresh water; and a comfortable place to sleep. Most pets also require regular exercise to stay fit. It is important to find out all about an animal before deciding whether it will fit in well with you or your family.
External parts of an animal are any part on the outside of it. Some examples include tails, legs, claws, skin and beaks. Animals use these parts to help them survive.
The animal kingdom is one of six kingdoms in the natural world, and contains over a million different species of animals, including humans. Animals are heterotrophic, which means they must eat food; they're eukaryotic, or made of complex cells; and they're multicellular, meaning they're made of many cells.

Life Cycle of an Animal: Animals start from eggs or live birth, then they grow up and mate. Animals begin life either from an egg or as a baby that is born ready for life. Baby animals grow and change into adolescents and eventually become adults.
