Subitizing FUN!!! It’s that time of the year where we are adding and subtracting each day and I’m watching the efficiency of my [kinder] counters. Recognizing these numbers automatically will SIGNIFICANTLY help their number sense! I made these into game cards for the kids to play WAR with too. They can’t decide which is more fun - SHOUTING out the numbers or playing it in math game form with friends! 🤩💖🫶🏻. My kindergarteners came back from winter break and I noticed that a few students were slow to produce the short a sound.
