My kindergarteners came back from winter break and I noticed that a few students were slow to produce the short a sound. I made them these sound drills, segmenting, blending + decodable p****ages and after a few days…✨! They needed just a few days of targeted intervention and… POOF ! They are masters.

Subitizing FUN!!! It’s that time of the year where we are adding and subtracting each day and I’m watching the efficiency of my [kinder] counters. Recognizing these numbers automatically will SIGNIFICANTLY help their number sense! I made these into game cards for the kids to play WAR with too.
