⁣A verb is a word that indicates a physical action (e.g., “drive”), a mental action (e.g., “think”), or a state of being (e.g., “exist”). Every sentence contains a verb. Verbs are almost always used along with a noun or pronoun to describe what the noun or pronoun is doing. ⁣A tense is a form of the verb that allows you to express time. The tense of the verb tells us when an event or something existed or when a person did something.

⁣A suffix is a word part added to the end of a word (for example, -ful). If you add the suffix -ful to the base word, help, the word is helpful. A prefix is a word part added to the beginning of a word or base word (for example, un-). If the prefix un- is added to helpful, the word is unhelpful.

⁣There are four main parts to the water cycle: Evaporation, Convection, Precipitation and Collection. Evaporation is when the sun heats up water in rivers or lakes or the ocean and turns it into vapour or steam. The water vapour or steam leaves the river, lake or ocean and goes into the air.

⁣Pets need care and attention to keep them healthy, happy, and safe. They need healthy food; clean, fresh water; and a comfortable place to sleep. Most pets also require regular exercise to stay fit. It is important to find out all about an animal before deciding whether it will fit in well with you or your family.

⁣The words include: stamp, stapler, star, starfish, statue, steak, steam, stem, stick, stingray, stone, stool, stop, stork, strawberry, and stump.

Determining how these letters connect and flow is part of the creative process of designing graffiti letters. In this demonstration you will see some of the creative choices and creative struggles faced in creating this design.

Look for ways to create symmetry in your graffiti name designs. In this design I look for ways to balance the feel of the Letter J against the letter K. This design includes a drop shadow, a border or outline and coloring. Learning to draw graffiti style lettering is an ongoing process of observation and experimentation.

The founder of Atomic School, Ian Stuart, taught Chemistry and Physics for 25 years at senior levels before he realized that his 8-year old son, Tom, could understand Atomic Theory at a much deeper level than he expected. After visiting Tom's cl**** at school, he discovered that his peers could also grasp the abstract scientific concepts, as well as apply it usefully to the real world.

Ian then developed a program to teach the advanced concepts of high school Chemistry, Physics and Biology to students 10 years younger than they normally would. He found that this engaged their interest in modern science early, and sustained it through to high school and beyond. It also sets them up for future success in their academic and career paths.

Ian has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Queensland and a Master's degree in Electrochemistry from the University of Melbourne.
