How do you memorize the periodic table in the fastest and easiest way possible? You use the natural power of your visual memory.

Most people only know the typical techniques to memorize using your verbal memory – acronyms, acrostics, rhymes, ****ociations and songs. Those techniques can be great for remembering small amounts of information, but they don’t take advantage of the dramatic improvements to your recall when you activate your visual memory.
We’ll begin by picturing a typical poster or chart of the periodic table. There are many small, colorful squares, each with a name, number and symbol of an element, and together they create a large irregular shape.
This image will act as an anchor in your memory, holding down the chain of images which link together all the elements.
Now we’ll take that colorful poster and attach it to the first element. Picture that poster of the periodic table and imagine it’s wrapped around a water hydrant.
Why a water hydrant?
1. Hydrogen
The 1st element in the periodic table is Hydrogen. Hydrogen sounds similar to hydrant and that’s how you’ll be reminded of it. Picture a water hydrant you see on the sidewalk. It’s short, stubby, red, and looks strong. The hydrant is like a little man with a small hat on top and stubby arms sticking out the side.
Imagine that hydrant with the chart of the periodic table wrapped around it. When you think of the chart of the periodic table, you’ll picture it wrapped around a water hydrant. Because hydrant sounds similar to hydrogen, you’ll know the 1st element in the table is Hydrogen.
2. Helium
The 2nd element is Helium. If you’re like me, when you think of Helium, you automatically think of a helium balloon. When you let it go, it’s the type that floats up into the sky. Now imagine an enormous helium balloon. Make it the size of a car and picture it attached to the water hydrant. Because the helium balloon is so big and has so much lifting power, it starts to lift the water hydrant up off the sidewalk. Together they slowly float up into the air and away into the sky. Now, when you visualize the helium balloon floating upwards, you’ll know the 2nd element is Helium.
3. Lithium
The 3rd element is Lithium. Lithium sounds a bit like “lithp”. People that have a lisp – a type of speech impediment – aren’t able to pronounce “lisp” and say “lithp”. Let’s pretend the large helium balloon has a lisp. It also has a small hole in it, causing the balloon to slowly deflate. Usually a balloon with a hole in it will make a slow “ssss” sound, but because this balloon has a lisp or “lithp”, it makes a “thhh” sound. Visualize the large balloon slowly deflating making a “thhh” sound. When you think of the balloon’s “lithp”, you’ll be reminded of the 3rd element, Lithium.
4. Beryllium
The 4th element is Beryllium. If you say Beryllium slowly, it sounds like “bee really yum”. Picture your slowly deflating balloon. Imagine an enormous bumble bee lands on the balloon. The bee is the size of a football and has bright yellow and black stripes and buzzes loudly. The bee licks the balloon to have a taste and says, “that’s really yum!” It really likes the taste of the balloon. When you picture the bee licking the balloon, you’ll think, “bee really yum”, and be reminded of the 4th element, Beryllium.
5. Boron
The 5th element is Boron. We can break up the word Boron into “bore” and “on”. The word “bore” can mean to drill a hole. Picture now the bee, after tasting the balloon. It uses its stinger, pierces the balloon and starts to spin around in a drilling motion. The bee has landed on the balloon, tasted it, and now it’s started to “bore on” the balloon. When you picture the bee begin to bore on the balloon, you’ll remember the 5th element, Boron.

Educational video for children to learn what fake news is and how to spot them. There are news stories on the internet which are not real; these are known as fake news. Sometimes, fake news are shared to make us laugh, to get more likes or to hurt someone. It's important to remember that virtual is real, that's why it's essential to be able to tell whether or not news is fake, especially before sharing it. In this educational video, children will be given several tips and advice to learn how to tell the difference between fake and real news, how not to trust exaggerated numbers, how to double-check dates and author's name or be doubtful when they come across expressions like "important" or "you'd never believe that". This video includes examples and encourages children to double-check with the help of an adult if the information is real. It's important to think before sharing something and remember that our actions can make a difference.

One of the best things about life is that we never have to stop learning. There are always new skills to learn and techniques for us to adopt. When you look at the most successful people in the world, they understand this. Warren Buffet spends most of his time reading. The best entrepreneurs in the world don't act like they know everything. They all understand the fact that they have to continuously learn to be successful.
For us to live life to the fullest, we must continually look for ways to improve. Even in our own companies, we should strive to help our organizations in areas that are outside of our comfort zone. Companies from all over the world have recognized this. Billion-dollar examples like Zappos and Facebook invest heavily into their own employees. Realizing the power of teaching, they promote from within and support their staff to learn to skills to bring back to the company.
If you aren't actively looking to learn new things, here are three reasons why you might want to rethink your strategy. Self-growth is key for us to live fulfilling lives and to have a successful career.
1. You will become happier
Learning is tough and can be frustrating. This is especially true when we talk about taking on new sports like crossfit, or pushing our brain to the limits trying to code. But although the task is hard, nothing is greater than reaching your accomplishment. For highly challenging goals like learning to write software, it is such an amazing feeling when your code works bug free. When we play sports, beating our personal records gives a high like none other.
Several studies have shown that the more ambitious goals that we set, the happier we are. And when we decide our own goals, our happiness is not reliant on others. We pick how many hours we practice, and we take ownership over what we achieve. Personal development is a way to guarantee us serenity from within.
2. You'll become irreplaceable to your team
The person who can adapt the most wins. This is a piece of advice I learned reading about fighter pilots in the Air Force. It is not about the strength of the plane, but instead it's the ability to react to different situations that makes a fighter jet. The best fighter pilots can adjust to more circumstances than the norm, making them much deadlier.
This same idea can be applied to our value to our organizations. If you can only sell your product, you are limited by your contribution. If you can sell, build and run operations, now you've become irreplaceable.
3. You'll stay humble
Every interaction you have is a chance to learn something. One of the recent ways I've learned this is through watching Ted Talks. What I love about these short speeches is that you can learn so much about subjects you thought you'd have no interest in. But by keeping an open mind, you discover patterns in how people present their talks that you can learn from. It just shows you that no matter whom you meet, there is always something valuable to learn from the encounter.
4. You'll become a great coach
The only way to mastery is through teaching. One of the best feelings in the world is teaching others what you've learned. Not only will it affect the person you're teaching, but also they in turn will teach others.
As a leader of your organization, you need to make learning a part of your culture. A way to start this is by teaching others what you've learned over time. You want to become such a great teacher that your company can run itself without you there. When you've achieved that, you've truly accomplished the state of mastery.
