What is Linear Motion?
Now, what is motion in a straight line? Objects move in motion, right? Those objects may move in 1 dimension, 2 dimensions or 3 dimensions. Today, we are going to discuss the motion of an object in 1 dimension. And that is the motion in a straight line. Motion in a straight line can also be called Linear Motion.
In Linear Motion, we will be talking about the position, displacement, velocity, and acceleration of an object.
Alright! Let’s start with Position.
The position of an object along a straight line can be uniquely identified by its distance from the origin. What does that mean? It means that the object only moves in one coordinate in the Cartesian plane which may go to the right or to the left of the 0.
The position of an object is relative to the reference frames. But what is a reference frame? A reference frame is an arbitrary set of axes from which the position and motion of an object are described. It means that it is where we base the motion of an object.
Take for example a rocket to be launched into outer space. Since the final destination of the rocket is in outer space, we can use the Earth as our reference frame. And from there, we can now calculate the position of the rocket with respect to Earth.
But not all reference frames are stationary in a linear motion. Sometimes, there are also moving reference frames that we can use in getting the position of an object in motion.
Enjoy this video about motion along a straight or in its other name which is the linear motion.

Lyrics
A car heading for the borderline.
distance travelled = speed × time
s = v t
You want to measure the acceleration?
acceleration=(change in velocity)/(time taken)
a=(Δ v)/t
Try to build the momentum properly.
momentum = m**** × velocity
p = m v
Turn on the speaker. It’s a song from Eminem.
wave speed = frequency × wavelength
v = f λ
Ain’t nobody as ‘phat’ as me.
weight = m**** × gravitational field strength g
W = m g
I use the force in this rap equation.
resultant force = m**** × acceleration
F = m a
pressure=(force normal to a surface)/(area of that surface)
p=F/A
There’s too much density in this whole tune.
density=m****/volume
ρ=m/V
23 Physics Equations.
We’ll take it one by one so have patience.
23 Physics Equations.
We’ll take it one by one so have patience.
A powerful quarterback runs on the touchline.
power=(work done)/time
P=W/t
Or
power=(energy transferred)/time
P=E/t
If we’re talking about transfers, then check this rhyme.
What football transfer would you like to happen, if you had infinite money to buy?
energy transferred = power × time
E = P t
Another way to get energy transferred, this physics equation I’m spitting.
energy transferred = charge flow × potential difference
E = Q V
My bars. I don’t charge at this current time.
charge flow = current × time
Q = I t
If you want to measure the potential difference.
potential difference = current × resistance
V = I R
Two more power equations all of a sudden.
power = potential difference × current
P = V I
Another equation for power. Sit back and listen.
power = (current)2 × resistance
P = I2 R
Chorus
In a factory, putting of a piston.
work done = force × distance along the line of action of the force
W = F s
You want to know the force applied to a spring?
force applied to a spring = spring constant × extension
F = k e
moment of a force = force × distance normal to direction of force
M = F d
The symbol is M = Fd but you knew that of course.
Efficiency is a mission to me but kinetic energy let’s do first.
kinetic energy = 0.5 × m**** × (speed)2
E_k=1/2 m
efficiecy=(useful output energy transfer)/(total input energy transfer)
Or
efficiecy=(total power output)/(total power input)
That’s 22 equations from your physics book.
One more to do before I spit the hook.
gravitational potential energy = m**** × gravitational field strength (g) × height
Ep = m g h
That’s 23 equations done. Good night.

DNA Song. Here is a song I made for a student to help the study. I hope you enjoy!
Here we go, genetic code, determines how you live
Oh size, shape, color and all makes you who you is
You should know the chromosomes has thousands of genes
A T and G C makes types of proteins
During synthesis, the cell uses info
From a gene on a chromosome
Out in the cytoplasm and on the ribosomes
Info needs to get out the nucleus
It's the DNA, in ya
It's the genetic code, in ya
Paring Nitrogen bases, in ya
The double helix ladder, in ya
Oohh
Adenine goes with Thymine
And Guanine pairs with Cytosine
Matched pairs of DNA, bases
How cells produce proteins
Ooh, no, no, no
Send, send, send the code out to the cytoplasm
This genetic messenger is ribonucleic acid
RNA, DNA, differ in many ways, yeah
RNA molecules look like one side or strand
Ribonucleic acid has a different sugar
Has uracil instead of thymine
Messenger RNA sends info out to the cytoplasm
Transfer adds amino acids to proteins
It's the DNA, in ya
It's the genetic code, in ya
Paring Nitrogen bases, in ya
The double helix ladder, in ya
Oohh
Adenine goes with Thymine
And Guanine pairs with Cytosine
Matched pairs of DNA, bases
How cells produce proteins
Messenger RNA production
Ooh, attaches to a ribosome
Transfer attaches to messenger
Ribosome releases, the completed protein chain
But don't you know it's the DNA, in ya
It's the genetic code, in ya
Paring Nitrogen bases, in ya
The double helix ladder, in ya
Oooh
Adenine goes with Thymine
And Guanine pairs with Cytosine
Matched pairs of DNA, bases
How cells produce proteins
Yeah, how cells make proteins
It's in the DNA
Ooh how cells make proteins
No, no, no, no
Meiosis is a type of cell division in sexually reproducing organisms that reduces the number of chromosomes in gametes (the sex cells, or egg and sperm). In humans, body (or somatic) cells are diploid, containing two sets of chromosomes (one from each parent).

Here is a video I created for my 6th grade science students to help them study. I hope you enjoy.
Producers make food by getting light Source food for ecosystem Consumers eating the food that’s right We cl****ify vocation
Omnivores thing is to eat it all And herbivores are consuming plants But carnivores meat eaters y'all And scavengers eat all that’s dead
It’s the flow of food Chain goes to the right It’s the flow of food Webs more closely right
Producers will make their food From photosynthesis Makes energy Then herbivores eat that Omnivores eat both it's true Then carnivores consume all that is meat
So we’re following the energy of food Food chain in line for food Arrows who's eating whom
Points to the right that's true Producer, consumer, higher levels to Food webs crossed chains of food Lines overlap they do Food webs show flow of food Producer, consumer, decomposer
Decomposers we do need them right? Breaking down organisms Returns materials back you see Bacteria and fungi too Molds, and mushrooms two major groups
Points to the right that's true Producer, consumer, higher levels to Food webs crossed chains of food Lines overlap they do Food webs show flow of food
Oh oh oh Oh oh oh Yeah yeah yeah Oh oh oh
If it eats first food Primary first to dine in line
And if it eats that food Secondary in line
Then if it eats that food It’s tertiary time And if it eats third food Quaternary defined
